tailorleaf

For people looking for their next job

One resume.
Every job.

Keep every role, bullet and skill you've ever written in one place. For each posting, Tailorleaf picks what fits, words it the way you'd say it, and gives you a clean resume to send.

No card needed to start.

How it works

Write it once. Tailor it in minutes.

Most people keep five versions of the same resume, each a little out of date. Here you keep one, and make a fresh copy for every job.

  • 1. Bring in what you have

Upload your old resumes as PDF or Word, or your LinkedIn export. Everything lands in one master resume, and anything that looks like a repeat is flagged instead of added twice.
  • 2. Add the job

Paste the posting, drop in a link, or save it from the page with the browser button. Tailorleaf reads what the job asks for.
  • 3. Send a resume that fits

Your best bullets for this job, picked and tidied. Check it, change anything, and download a PDF or Word file, or send a share link.

Build it once

A master resume that keeps everything

  • Every bullet on its own

Your resume is kept as real pieces: jobs, bullets, skills, schools. Tag a bullet with the skills and numbers it shows, and star the ones you're proud of.
  • Just talk it throughPro

Tell the chat helper about a job you had. It asks good follow-up questions and suggests entries. Each one shows up as a card you accept or turn down.
  • Type it yourself, too

Add and edit anything by hand. Every change saves as you go, and a live preview shows the page as it will print.

Tailor it

Fit each job without starting over

  • It picks what fits

For each job, Tailorleaf chooses the bullets, skills and sections that match the posting. It's a starting point. Swap anything in or out.
  • Match score

See which of the job's requirements your resume covers, with the missing ones listed. Fix a gap with a bullet you already have, or a skill you really have. The score moves as you edit.
  • Rewording in your voicePro

Pick light, balanced or strong. Each rewrite tells you why it helps, and you take it or leave it. A rewrite that adds a number or a name you didn't give it is held back.
  • Plain words, not buzzwordsPro

A last pass takes out the phrases that make a resume sound machine-made: stock verbs, filler and puffed-up claims.
  • Skills you forgotPro

When a posting asks for a skill your resume doesn't mention, you'll hear about it. Add it if it's true, dismiss it if not.
  • Layouts that pass the bots

Classic, Modern or Compact, with a live preview. Every layout reads cleanly to people and to the applicant tracking systems that screen resumes.

Apply

Everything around the application

  • Cover lettersPro

A short or standard letter, warm or direct, written from your resume and the posting. Add a note about why this company. Edit it in place and export it to match your resume.
  • Interview practicePro

Likely questions for this job, why they might come up, and stories drafted from your own bullets. Type a practice answer and get notes on what landed and what to add. No grades.
  • Job tracker

Every job moves through saved, applied, interviewing, offer and closed. Drag cards on a board, keep notes and pay, and set a next step with a date.
  • Save jobs from anywhere

Paste a link and Tailorleaf pulls in the title, company and posting. Or use the browser button on any job page to send it over in one click.
  • LinkedIn textPro

A headline, an About section and short job descriptions written from your master resume, ready to copy. Nothing is posted for you.
  • PDF, Word, plain text or a share link

Download what the application asks for. A share link always shows your latest version, tells you how often it's been opened, and turns off whenever you like.

Questions

Good to know

  • Will it make things up?

No. Rewrites work only from what's already in your resume. If a suggestion adds a number, a name or a claim you didn't give it, it isn't offered, and you see why.
  • Will it sound like AI wrote it?

That's the main thing we work against. Rewording keeps your plain voice, and a final pass removes the stock phrases that give machine-written resumes away.
  • Do I need a card for the trial?

No. Sign up with Google, an email link or a passkey and start. You only enter a card if you pick a plan.
  • What happens when the trial ends?

Your master resume and every tailored copy stay put. You can still edit and export them. The writing help comes back when you pick a plan.
  • Can applicant tracking systems read it?

Yes. Every layout is built to parse well, and you can see the plain-text version a screening system reads before you send it.
  • Who can see my resume?

Only you, unless you make a share link. Share links can't be found by search engines, and you can turn one off at any time.
